ISO Firmware update

I have searched now for 2 weeks and tried to search here for any information on Firmware update. I have a box I guess is newer M16 Amlogic S905x 8 GB Android 7.1. Box is stuck on a boot screen. I am new to this site and new to playing around with these boxes. Any help or guidance will be greatly appreciated.

first of all , if u want to flash your Box new , you need the right .img File ,

some Information how to do it , but for your Box you need the right FW , otherwise

brick . If possible try to find out what Wifichip is used . If we know that we can maybe

find a working Rom for you .

Yes, that is my box. the other information is very helpful and some of it I did come across while searching. The one missing piece of the puzzle is finding the Firm Ware file. I am not sure how to identify the WifiChip. The box doesn't get beyond the boot screen.

the best Way is opening the Box and look , otherwise you can try to flash any S905X Rom with nearly

same Specs and hope that you can find one that works , but that is not the clever Way , better to be

patient , reading alll the S905X Rom Threads for Infos , is better .

Please try to find out what Wifichip is used this makes it a little bit easier to search for a new Rom .

the Chip is to see on Picture 2 i think (bottom left)(under HDMI Port) , but the

important thing is , where is the Antenna ???

Where did you buy it , can the Seller not upload a Stockrom , for restore ???
