Why everyone seems to need SuperSU as there is MAGISK too? And I didn't hear about problem with it, maybe there are less users of it on this forum, but still. It's still, or at least more often, updated.
Additionally You should remember that SuperSU is not community app anymore, as it belongs to some Chinese company. Better keep away from them.ALFAWISE H96 Pro+ 3/32 (S32-V6) | 7.1.2 | SCV7A | OC kernel | TWRP 3.1.1-0 | 64GB

but can MAGISK be used on every Rom and CPU or BOX ??? I do not know that .
I only know the Developername changed and "Delaware" is not in China , this is
the place where you can reach the Dev. , like Gplay says .

As long as there is a way to flash kernel into the device, than You can use MAGISK.
If You have Recovery with a way to flash kernel (I think all 2012/2013+ devices have the kernel open to on device flash (dd command), so it's possible for them), than MAGISK flashable zip will automatically repack the kernel and flash it.
But if there is no Recovery with an option to flash kernel, device doesn't support dd commands or any other way for on device flash of kernel (or any images) or You just don't use any Recovery, than MAGISK Manager has an option to repack .img with the kernel (it has to be .img file, not any other) within itself, and than You have to flash it manually (probably Fastboot or abd/dd command in case of no Recovery and support for on device flash).
So it means that any device with Android 5.0 or newer and unlockable bootloader are compatible with MAGISK, or at least ones.
As for Delaware address it's just an address Condingcode, which is shell company of CCMT, the real "owners" (or at least the ones who bought) the SuperSU from Chainfire. And they're "nobodies" - no physical identity, no previous reputation, no nationality and no know privacy policy.
I would be afraid to give Root access to app, which is close sourced and controlled by unknown person/company. Some time ago Chainfire, not as an owner, still worked on SuperSU, but right now he stepped down and all updates (good and bad) are made by Condingcode/CCMT.
As for them being Chinese, it may be a gossip, but most known sites (like XDA) says that CCMT is Chinese, and I believe them.
As for MAGISK, You may not know the creator (topjohnwu) personally, but You can (at least try to) talk to him on XDA or check his app code on GitHub.ALFAWISE H96 Pro+ 3/32 (S32-V6) | 7.1.2 | SCV7A | OC kernel | TWRP 3.1.1-0 | 64GB

Got a couple of other Android devices, updating Supersu used to be ok, but now for a MotoG once you update it, and run the updated binary during boot, and then reboot again, it always build the dalvik cache every single time. So takes 10 minutes- so leave the phone on. Luckily can just re-flash back to the modded 5.1 ROM, and now don't update SuperSU.
Also on Pipo M9 Max, with Freaktab firmware, updating supersu causes ads to appear, I run adaway normally that blocks ads but something is different in supersu so get annyoing ads.
So Now on all android devices I don't update supersu

That's why now I prefer MAGISK - it won't brick Your device, You can still use SafetyNet apps and it's not only open source, but not owned by unknown shell company belonging to other unknown company originating in China (if they wouldn't have something to hide, they wouldn't hide).ALFAWISE H96 Pro+ 3/32 (S32-V6) | 7.1.2 | SCV7A | OC kernel | TWRP 3.1.1-0 | 64GB

I read about a SuperSu work-around a month or two ago on 4pda forums, will try to find links when I have time.
If you muck around too much, Magisk can boot-loop your device or disable root. Requires start-over from SCV4.
Old back-ups from Titanium Back-up made under SuperSu can be read on new system using Magisk. Old back-ups made under Magisk cannot be read under a SuperSu system ......
Magisk old Titanium back-ups fail if you flash newer and re-install Magisk with the new firmware. I can't remember if back-ups fail after only updating Magisk to new version..
Well, from dozens of tries and no happy success.
If anyone has a solution...lots of old useless back-ups(gigs and gigs) would be accessible again.
