CX-919 Android 4.2.2 jjhmod Rom 1.0 with vsync fix - Download

Ok here is my custom rom for the CX-919. The readme file has all the info. This rom is based on a recent stock firmware. I have included 4 kernels to choose from depending on how fast you want the ram to run and whether or not you want 720p or 1080p.

Rom has root and init.d support.

    Download Link

    Antutu Scores:

    720-400mhz ~15,300
    720-800mhz ~17,500
    1080-400mhz ~14,100
    1080-800mhz ~16,000

    I appreciate feedback!

Title says w vsync fix. Jeez, that would be great! But, I am running finless 4.2_1.4 with the latest stock 1080 kernel pulled from the latest stock ROM. Still getting frame skipping. Plus terrible lag on wireless mouse. Sometimes complete lock up for a moment.
Now, I read this am. Finless will have new rom soon too. Thank you for the work on this ROM. Will try it. Its great to have choices.

Is it possible to install this ram overclocked kernels in an unmodified cx-919?? Or it will be too hot??

Yes these kernels have phjanderson's fix. Might go sam321's route at some point, just waiting till more testing is done with it.

The ram doesn't really heat up much at all, but the access to faster ram definately causes the cpu/gpu to heat up a bit more. I tested them on my unmodded stick. The cpu is not overclocked at all in my kernels. Just keep an eye on it is all I'd say.

I tried flashing the rom with the 1080p - 800 MHz kernel on my CX-919. Flashing went fine but I get a black screen on my tv after flashing. Seems to be a problem with the kernel.

                          Yes I did.

I deselected the recovery image and I tried both 1080p kernels with the 1080 boot imagine. Black screen after the flash.

Changing the kernel to strauzo's test2 kernel didn't help either. Flashing the kasty-cx919_1080p-422-20130730_rooted3.zip from arctablet solved the problem

                            kernel 600mhz

i have tried the 800 mhz 1080 p kernel, it gets very hot atleast mine.. and i dont have extra cooling so i dont dare to run it at that speed.. maybe if u could upload a 600 mhz kernel, something in the middle of 800 and 400.. would that work?

even with 400 it got very hot.. so i am sticking with finless 1.4 and another 1080p kernel.. but with 800mhz it went real smooth in menus and stuff.. but risk of overheating maybe exploding.. dont think so

and another thing, my xbox 360 controller keept on flashing, it worked but it kept flashing.. odd

funny thing happend when my cousin bought a bluetooth headset from china site, when i was going to charge it in the wall socket it exploded in my hand

Yeah I can do 600 or whatever but I'd still recommend extra cooling if running at over 400mhz ram.
