I have 2 TV boxes that I want to upgrade, and I am completely new to this...
I'll start with the one I got my hands on for testing first. It is one of those TX5 Pro ones, that should have an S905X
I downloaded the firmware that (in theory) is for this box, it was an .img file.
I used "burn card maker" to prepare an SD card and copy the files, and once done, I then did the "keep reset pressed while powering on" method.
What I get is the S905X logo appearing for a few seconds, and then almost immediately I see the android robot with a red X in a circle.
What am I doing wrong???
The other box I have is one of those "MXQ Pro 4K" ones, but for this one I'm even more confused being I saw firmwares for CPUs S905W, S905, S905X etc and I don't know how to tell which one I have! I downloaded several hardware info apps, but they just give me codes that I cannot match to anything.
