I didnt get it thats just the recovery partition we need the full system backup to restore our devices

Okay, perhaps I am missing something her but as far as I read / understand:

The QCA9337 is based on atheros / qualcomm technology

The AP6335 is based on broadcom tech:

https://wikidevi.com/wiki/AMPAK and the needed (existing kernelmodule is brcmfmac)

http://linux-sunxi.org/Wifi#Ampak

therefore I do not see how the rom you mentioned could help as the chipsets seem to be incompatible.


So there are drivers for this as I understand (see above link), but our Kernel doesn't support module hot plugging so we can't use / load it .

The kernel source for the amlogic s912 is available here:

, but one needs to fill in a form and send it to amlogic to receive the code.

I am not sure if this helps, as I am not aware that IF we could build the new kernel - which ultimately could be built with the correct driver straight away, it could be flashed at all.

sorry. that is the back up.worded it wrong.my bad.but like i have already said i have not tried to restore it yet.so it may or may not restore .some twrp recoveries fail to do restore for some reason.need to find and use one that will work.

hope for those with the newest wifi module on m8spro l.the firmware in this link on freaktab has drivers for both the qualcomm qca9377 module and also the longsys ltm8830 wireless chipset of which the latest motherboard has a clone.so if anyone can extract them and put them on m8s pro l custom firmware then the wifi should work.dont know if motherboard has any other mods to the original though.http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...android-tv-7-1
