V88 plus with Ugoos UT6 firmware - summary and issues

Hi I've manage to install ugoos firmare on my V88 plus (form 4pda). It works really great, like no original firmware. There are some drawbacks I can't fix:

- no wifi. it's not really a problem since I'm using ethernet but there is no patch for realtek chipset or am I wrong?
- you will lose 8GB of user space. not an issue for me but please be warned.
- real pain is that I cant properly turn off my device. It hangs after switching the screen off (on one tv the screen turns pink, on other just black). I can live with that but maybe some of you have some ideas how to fix that.

Other than that, after flashing ugoos you will get a working android 6 WITH bitstreaming setting, smooth and synced videos from codi, 1080p, well working youtube and a colder device.

hello have you managed to get the wifi working? the same issue happens if you install the LeelBox Q1 or Kingbox K1, excellent firmwares, but without WI in our boxes. regards.

OK I managed to get wifi working by replacing Misc, Resources and Kernel from a working Rom. regards.

Im using Leelbox K1 ROM and I dont have any of those issues after the partitions were replaced. havent tried UT6 rom, but from the pictures they look very similar, maybe you can try the leelbox one. regards
