    Netflix ?

    Hi,

I have a query about Netflix on the QX1 , for me it does not work - I have tried every solution I could find and spent a load of time searching google and forums for one that does.

Does anyone have a method of getting it to work that does not randomly lock up / picture freeze / no audio and black screen or restarts.

I have two QX1 and have no problem with TV Catchup which streams live tv in the UK , Daily Motion works more than it doesn't but really would like to get Netflix working.

BTW thanks to Bob & Leolas for your work !

I am currently running latest finless and the power supply is not the original.

    Thanks

I have tried this and it does not work , but tbh I am not sure if there is just version of the Netflix patch or different versions for different phones/tabs as have only found details in forums about other devices.

Verssion I tried was found from a link in another thread - I think it was called Dinc - is that the version people have used and got it to work ?

      Thanks again

Which Netflix apk version do you have? 2.3.0?
Here's the link to both the xposed framework APK and the workaround patch APK.

I tested Netflix on my 1.5 ROM and it works for me perfectly!
I think you have something else going on.

No, the minix X7 rom I used had the Netflix fixed! My 1.4 ROM would do exactly as you have said... hangs.

I tried this exactly as you said, even with reboots between every step, and I still can't get it to work. It still buffers and freezes.

Anyone else having trouble with netflix?

For me all my Netflix issues disappeared with the last two Netflix updates released for Android.

Maybe try to uninstall and get the latest version from the Play store.

Recently Netflix let out a pretty good update that makes TV viewing easier. It then, for me, updated again. I don't know what the second one patched, but Netflix runs better than it ever has for me on Androids now.

It hardly buffers and skips to HD, or real damn clean looking, in a few seconds. I've only had a video freeze a couple times and it was overheating of my stick.

I hope everyone gets the new version soon and has similar results. Google it. It's a roll out and maybe hasn't gone to everyone yet.

Thank you for the response. Are you using the xposed netflix hack with the new netflix update?

I'm still having issues. going to to try reinstalling the finless 1.5 again

I tried new Netflix from play store without hack and plays for a few seconds then kicks out to menu.
Was using old version with hack but video quality was pants.

Tbh I don't use qx1 any more except to try out stuff on this forum, it s too unreliable replaced with roku box which works fine and the other non techys in house can also work it without asking me to sort it out every half hour.
Still keep checking back here in case anyone figures a way to make use able for more than an hour.

                            I have QX2.

Netflix isn't perfect. It's better than it was for me.

Still it sometimes take a few reboots to be steady.
