MXQ-4K MBOX root possible ?

Hi,

For my son, i would like to use Dualshock from PS3 to play game. I've bought Sixaxis, and i can move in the launcher. I've setup the mapping for games, but it doesn't work.
I think i need the root access.

Actual firmware is : RK322x-eng 4.4.4 KTU84Q eng.hotack.20160321.152503 test-keys.1458545303

My box is not rooted and i think it's not possible to flash it.

And i can't manage to install rockchip driver on my win10 laptop ..

It seems that my wifi chip is a esp8089. so i'm looking for a root flash file.

Someone have already installed rockusb driver on Windows 10 because my box has been detected but the driver fail to install.
I deactivate the driver verification signature, but it didn't help.

i tried on my two PC, it doesn't work.
It say usb device unknown

After several try, my laptop see a device but can't install the driver, so i decided to make another Male to Male USB cable, and now it's ok.
Now i root my box and can map my controller.

My Box works fine now, i've done a nandroid backup.

We can find a lot of firmware on the net, but is there a trick to know which one is ok for my box ?
The reason is because with android 6 i can add a sdcard as rom space.

With the Nandroid backup, i can always restore my old firmware.

is it possible to explain to me how you did the nanroid backup step by step as i am new to this.

i have an MXQ 4k box running android 7.1 and an app also says its rooted when the device is actually not rooted

I also have Mxq 4k with android 7.1.2 installed . Root checker says has root permissions but can not mount internal storage . Any Idea ? How to mount system file? IR remote is also not working except power key.
