MXQ Pro 4k goes no further than the word ANDROID

    Hey team,
Have a MXQ Pro that can't get past Android, was working perfectly fine. No changes made by me and less than a month old.
Some Google searching suggests that it my be bricked and to try a soft reset. Tried this without luck. Is running 7.1.
    Any advice would be appreciated.
    Cheers

Then you have a rockchip box and the firmware above should work.

Are you able to provide me with some instructions please. I have tried following some instructions I found online that use the USB burning tool but I can't get the MXQ to show up in the burning tool.
                Cheers

                  Hello Scratch

You have an Rockchip Box and the USB Burning Tool is for AMLOGIC Boxes so it can´t regonize the MXQ.
For Rockchip you need the Android Tool you can find here --> http://freaktab.org/4a4abef777368a8d
You also need the Drivers these are included in the Download.

Hi team, thanks for the help. The box is running again!!! A quick question Neomode, what version of Android is the firmware you provided? Is it 6?

Hey guys, I have another quick question when I checked the storage of the box I have it says it's only 4GB, would this be right or is it because of the firmware I have loaded? It should be at least 8GB.
                              Cheers
