problem copying apks into /system/pre_app with RootBrowser

I have an s905w that is rooted. It has android 7.1 installed. I have always been able to copy apks into /system/pre_app on tv boxes with android 5.1 lollipop. But on this box when I copy an apk into /system/pre_app using RootBrowser it causes the apk to become corrupt. Has anybody seen this problem? Is there an apk that will allow me to copy apks into /system/pre_app or is there more to it now?

    Hi ,

first you need root , but i think you know that , second , why you dont use

an App like Flakis : SystemAppManager , then you can convert every App

    into system/app .

Hope it helps / greetings / gefattern

Hi, yes the box already has root. I found the solution. I logged into the playstore and re-downloaded a newer version of RootBrowser. That solved the problem.

      Thanks for your help.
