Normally Open - Open at normal Temperature
Should have a little Kanji Symbol (crossed-tower) on it.

Make a note specifically to seller saying Open Circuit at room temp. Etc.

    see post

Normally closed I think no ?

    Also ....

You could use the un-switched UART 3.3V with these switches and no resistor if you have a nice quiet fan @ 3.3V

or the un-switched 5V from the input socket (nice to get at on the top side of the board) and a resistor, and a KSD9700

Lots of choices and options ...

    See notes above.

Depends on your preferences, if you have not slowed the fan with a resistor then you don't want it on much because of noise so use 55C.
If you have high ambient temp and quiet fan maybe use 50C
Normal ambient temp and a slow quiet fan 45C
But it is all your choice - Would buy a spread of temps if you can get them from a seller like the one I used, he only charges a small amount extra for each extra one as postage and fees are his biggest expense. Check seller first with a message ...

Switches have quite wide manufacturing tolerances too at +/- 5C.
My 45C switches at 47.5 and a 50C may also switch at a similar temp though all mine switch at slightly more than rated nominal.

Don't really wanna run stress test, I'm afraid of it. But I did noticed that temps are rising to 55-58C while watching 720p movie (no reason for me to watch 1080, my TV only supports 720p). But my ambient temperature is now around 23 degree, summer it will be around 28-30, really afraid. This box is so small.. my old Minix X6 has doubled dimenision, why the hell they do such little boxes. Any way to just downclock CPU? Because I only need soft navigation and 720p playblack, maybe downcloking to 1Gz would lower the temps?

In the UK I bought on The Bay UK - Item number 322989226698 - I got free/included postage - Arrived next day - Great service.
This seller is best for 2 or more - Example: Order 2x Temp45C and add Note. Please supply 1x 45C and 1x 50C - Open Circuit at Room Temp
Cheaper (slower) from China, or Faster US if in US !!

This is a temporary mounting using a pad or paste.
Final mount, just use some HY 910 Thermal Glue to stick to side of Heatsink (same position).
Insulate from PCB with some vinyl tape - Just in case !!!

The wiring is simple - just wire in series with the Neg/Black wire to the Earth/0V point - I am using the shroud of the Ethernet port for 0V !

What .apk should I use for cpu temp? And how do I isntall it? How on normal android? Can i just use usb stick? I installed AIDA64 from GP, shows 52C standy, is it okay or abnormal?
52C sounds pretty good for an L box idling.

Use AptoideTV to install "CPU Temperature" app

    Test Mountings ...

Small piece of Thermal Pad along heatsink and a piece of Double-sided foam tape (Red backing) to press Switch against heatsink/pad.
Same for the Temp Probe (White)
2x Strip of Vinyl tape underneath the KSD9700-NO to isolate from PCB components (tiny little resistors)

Above tests using MX4 Thermal Paste - gives a faster response to rises in temp than Thermal Pad (about +2C delay to On temp).
Final fixing with HY910 Thermal Glue should be more like the MX4 tests as used above.
    Thanks
