Alfawise H96 Pro Plus+ 3/32, DDR3 New stock firmware Nougat and IR Remote fix

    Hi
I have a Alfawise H96 Pro Plus, (3/32) with the IR remote problem where the box will not turn back on using the remote when turned off
Only way to turn this back on is by removing the power and plugging it in again

    The motherboard has ZH01-S912-TVBOX-V3.0.
It has "ALFAWISE" on the top of the black plastic
It only has two USB ports. Non hidden

    Please can someone help
    Many Thanks

I think it is the way/style your power adapter is made....but, I might be misinformed.

Voltage should be same as original one - 5V. However You could buy a charger with higher amperage - 3 or more.
            ALFAWISE H96 Pro+ 3/32 (S32-V6) | 7.1.2 | SCV7A | OC kernel | TWRP 3.1.1-0 | 64GB

              Thanks for the reply
will this resolve the ir remote problem
it will be a shame to purchase one for no reason
i dont have any power adaptors lying around at 5v
only 9v or 12v which is very high

Unfortunately, this box was built that way. I have a box with the same marking "ZH01-S912-TVBOX-V3.0". The power button will only put it to sleep and wake it up from sleep. It will not power up from a power down. I asked the manufacturer of my box and this is what they told me. I thought flashing superceleron's rom v7a would fix it but it didn't.

or has it worked for others ?

Personally I wouldn't change the power adapter to higher output, might burn something up. I just hit the button on the remote to put it to sleep when I'm done, then I press it again to wake it up. I rarely shut it down completely.

No but keeping the voltage the same as 5V but increasing the amp to 3 amp from the stock which is 2.5A
Reading other posts this has worked for other people
                      if someone can advise
Thanks for sleep hint. This is a temporary work around, I guess

I didn't know that, if you do ever try it I would like to know if it works and where you got your adapter from.
