After installing Finless 1.5 default, I installed the RK30Generic CWM and using the reboot to recovery app was able to use CWM to maked a full backup. I then changed to the stock kernel and reboot to recovery only goes to a blank screen, not CWM. I tried reinstalling CWM but no change. Am I doing something wrong or does CWM only work with certain kernels?

CWM Problem
Here is a link to the developer of this CWM on XDA: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2102679 . Page 2 has info about roms restoring the stock recovery on every boot. This may be the problem we're experiencing. I'm trying to understand the fix.Comment

CWM Problem
I read all 53 pages of the developers post and didn't get any new ideas. CWM works until I flash a new kernel. Then reboot to recovery boots to a blank screen. My windows 7 machine has a new device at that point with no drivers listed as RK3066.Comment

The recovery image download in post #23 of topic "CWM recory ask" works. I was able to flash it, change kernels, and then boot to recovery instead of a black screen.Comment
