H96 pro plus bricked ... need Help

Hi Cju, i've a good news, my tv box is alive now lol, i just changed my USB cable and the USB burning tool recognize the box, but the box freeze randomely, i need to deconnect the adapter cable and connect it to restart the box, the box can freeze 10 times in 30mn.
i've tested the original rom but the box is still freezing

Thank you so much for this post. I had all but given up on this box. so I tried 3 usb ports on my computer(and 2 different cords)...a lot of times, Finally unplugged my keyboard, and plugged in the box (heard the bebop noise) and watched it flash all the way to 100%, I was standing there holding the box in one hand, not moving a muscle in case it messed it up

I had gone as far as to hook it up to a serial port, all I could get was a boot loop readout

You could restart the app, as there is little to many TV Boxes "connected" at once and it could interfere with flashing.

Yes! working, I only had the one box plugged in, I had just tried it a million times in a bunch of usb ports, Maybe unplugging my keyboard was the key (it is a flash-able keyboard)
so should I OTA update now? not meaning to hijack this thread....just so happy its working now (literally months trying)

If You have an update than You may. But with this Boxes better stay with working firmware

Haha if that was my attitude I wouldn't have been here in the first place.
so tried ota update thru app...wouldn't connect
Downloaded update 7
Booted to recovery (held in reset,plugged in power,waited a few sec, let go of reset)
installed update, reboot
Success!

Superceleron's firmware? And as "app" You mean butning tool or Update app installed by SCV4?
OTA is recovery flashsable .zip file, so not strange that Burning Tool won't work. As for Android app, I never used it, removed (freezed) even (Titanium Backup rocks!). Playing with TWRP is better

If You want Root, flash MAGISK. However it seems that Manager v5.5.1+ doesn't work with superceleron's roms (or H96). 5.5.0 is latest I managed to launch without FC.

Everything is running great.
In fact... I just use the almost exact same procedure to fix my R-box!! only took 2 tries this time....so now my r-box (which has been dead for over a year due to bad flash) Is up and running as well!!(not the same firmware)
Pretty happy.
had issue with netflix, resolved by uninstalling and downloading com-netflix-mediaclient.24240.apk
