Newbie doubts

Hi, just started on this world and a lot of doubts are poping out.
1- whats the difference between the roms? Scv4, scv7?

2 - i have a 3/32 ddr3 (blue pcb v6). What is the rom to update with sd car?

A1. Depend what are You see as SCV4 - there is SCV4A, an update for Android TV rom and SCV4, a base of normal Android rom. SCV7A is an update for normal rom.
A2. Both will work. As both I mean Android TV and Normal. I use latter.

Im sorry my ignorance... but what is a "normal" ROM and a Android TV rom?
I got my box on Gearbest and is running this rom "NHG47L20171031 test-keys<2017-10-31 05:11>". This is "Normal" or Android?

I think what he is referring to is "normal" being the Android you will find on touch screens on tablets and mobile phones. The Android TV is the Google lean back launcher found on devices like the Nvida Shield or Xiaomi Mibox.

So, by description of the SCV4A, its needed to install SCV1.
So if my understanding is correct the steps are:

1 - Flash SCV1 with Flash tools on sd card
2 - Insert sd card on box, pressing with a clip on reset button and power on the box.
3 - Wait for install and reboot.

Is this correct?

But then to update to SCV4A, its said that must be done with recovery. What is this method?

A1. Yes, that's it.
Than I would boot SCV1 here and go through the first setup.

After that You have to boot to TWRP - it can be done same way as You wrote in 2. TWRP is flashed with SCV1 and takes place of original recovery. So after flashing SCV1 reset will boot TWRP. There You have to use Install "tile" -> next look for Select Storage (only if .zip file is on SD or USB storage) -> Choose SD or USB (can be flashed from one too) -> look for .zip file with update -> choose it -> Swipe to the right.
You may as well use Update app installed already in SCV1. There You choose zip file with SCV4A and the app automatically reboots the Box to TWRP and starts flashing.

For blue board in LPDDR3, SCV4A is the latest firmware from SuperCelerom, right?

Yes and no. That's right for Android TV rom - SCV4A is last.
However there is "normal" Android rom made by superceleron and it has latest version named V7A.

However they are two different roms and ATV V4A is from around same time as normal V7A.
