Can I unbrick my NeoX7 just like unbricking a X5???

Somehow, whilst trying to update the rom on my new X7, it got bricked. When I boot it up, it stops booting and will not go past the initial MINIX screen. I see there are directions on how to unbrick the X5 on the internet, will that work for the X7 too??? Thanks, Don

It doesn't look like it's bricked from what you described?
    just failed flashing?

      Bricked or just stuck booting???

I never got to the flashing point, of which I am confused about. Here is what I did. First I tried loading the USB drivers on my 64bit Windows 7 machine numerous times and failed each time, then did some digging around to find that I cannot use USB 3 port. Tried USB 2 port and still failed, more digging around to find out I had to put the NeoX7 in developer mode. After doing that it finally loaded USB drivers on my PC, but the step after that said to reboot PC and Neo, when I did that it said to use the flash utility and the unit should be green of which it was not so I tried hooking it up to my tv to see what was wrong. When I turned it on I saw the big MINIX logo pulsing and it stays that way forever. So is it bricked, or stuck booting or what. Will the procedure for unbricking work??? Thanks, Don

        Fixed

Wow... After trying numerous times to re-flash, recover, unbrick I finally figured out by pure luck how to go into Android recovery mode, why doesn't anyone state in the forums how to go into recovery mode? Well, in recovery mode, I wiped all data and restored to factory settings and everything works fine now.

Could you document how to get into recovery mode?

Here is how I got into recovery mode

To Enter Android Menu, with unit pluged in to power and HDMI plugged in, with USB keboard plugged in, hold reset button and power button for 8 seconds then release and it boot into recovery mode.
