[Firmware request] Alfawise A8 projector

So recently I bought this Alfawise A8 portable projector from gearbest.

Its a basic version but it also has a smart version available aswell, which runs on Android 6.0
The product description says:
CPU: quad-core 1.5GHz Amlogic S905X, RAM: 1GB DDR3, ROM: 8GB NAND Flash ( but the basic version does not have the OS )

Now I am wondering if I can source the OS from somewhere and insall it to my basic version since the description says the basic version does not have an OS which I am assuming means 'it has the required hardware but not the OS'

Your best solution is to connect your favorite tv box to the projector's hdmi port
