Hi ,

the only thing i know is , i stay on my Rom , aslong a better Rom comes , but this will for sure not happen ,

because of stupid chinese Developers , they only change the "Builddate" and sell it as new ,

For sure, if you don't want a bicked box....STAY right were you are.....I will never own another rockchip.....only thing mine will do is the red and blue light flashes on and off, and sometimes it makes the beep-beep like it is hooked to computer but don't show on factory tool as hooked

thought you flashed the latest Rom without Problems & it booted &

worked with success , what happend ??? , please report if you got

your Box back to life , i had Problems with Androidtool 2.61 / 2.65 ,

it only work well with 2.42 , Bugs like : prepare IDB , Test Device fail

Errors , hope you get your Box back to life ,

Hi - I found that this box flashes best with factory tool. Never had an issue the numerous times I have flashed my X99's. I used v1.45e but I am sure v1.6 would work just as well

I was able to flash that new ROM, which didn't work at all....it booted but nothing worked....but then when I tried to reflash to my old ROM(10-24-2018) it got BRICKED.....red light is on and that's about it. Nothing, chip is not even warm.....thats cool, I'm done with rockchips...there terrible.

what do you mean by cant get it to hook to PC? More detail please - step by step. I am presuming you trying to do a reflash of 20181024 img.

I posted a flash guide on #730 - these steps never fail for me on my X99 boxes - both the 32/64GB. Also the following was posted by Beppin to get into maskrom mode if you need to.

Don't install, nothing works. 5G wi-fi no work, LAN no work and most of the apps I have won't even run.
