Question about Mk809iii with lapdock 1366x768 resolution

You're not going to need that kernel resolution. I have a bionic lapdock, and know the problem you're talking about. The truth is that the lapdock can handle a true 720P or 1080P source. I've had occasionally buggy success using my RK3066 Uhost2 and RK3188 Imito QX1.
The key here is that you're not giving your device enough power. If you power your android mini pc with 2.1 amps or above - you should see that you now have higher video options under screen resolution.
First - try that out without getting power from the lapdock to confirm what I just typed. If that works, then you may need to experiment with different cables from the lapdock - one way I got it to work was by using a hard drive Y cable that combines the power from two ports.
I don't think I'll use it with my Imito QX1 long term though, because I kept getting artifacts on the screen. Odd blurs and whatnot, even when setting it to 720P. I think that the lapdock can't supply enough power on it's own for a consistently good experience.
