Webcams on TV boxes and multiple USB microphones issue.

    Hi everyone.

After much struggling and searching on my own, I decided to share my little project with the community

I have a Android TV box (Tanix TX92) and I want to use a webcam on it to Skype family. I have a Logitech and a Microsoft webcam and both work great at first. I can use it once, regardless of which app I use it with (stock camera app or skype) but when I try to use it a second time, I can't, the app just displays a black screen like it can't find the camera and I have to reboot the box to use the webcam again. The only exception is when I use the Open Camera app, that will work everytime I open it.
What can I try to have the camera work everytime an app tries to access it?
Adittionaly, I have a high quality USB microphone that works plug and play on android, but when plugged with the webcam, the webcam mic becomes the default one, and the quality of that mic isn't good with sound coming from below the tv. Android does not have a Windows like "device manager".
How can I disable one of the mics or make one of them be the default one.

Any thoughts or experiences with any of these 2 issues are greatly appreciated. I just wish to have some ideas on what I can try next.

I use a webcam sitting on top of my TV and the mic works VERY well, even at a distance of 20'. I do recall others having issues selecting which audio input for your device to use, and there is an app that will solve that issue. However, since I am mostly senile, I can't remember the name of that app...... sorry.

Hahaha, that's okay. Thanks clarkss12 for commenting anyway. I'll look for that app then that can direct direct my audio inputs or one that can disable the webcam mic. Good to know it's out there.

I think what I am trying to do is what you could do with android 4.x.x when it had the Sound Devices Manager where you could pick the Sound Input Device. Any ideas how that would be possible in Android 7.1?

Did you try the "SoundAbout" app, from the play store??

Yes and it is a really good app, but on the settings I don't see how I can specify which USB Input audio device the apps should use.
It gives me the option to specify between USB Host or USB Client (which I don't know what's the diference), but what If I have 2 USB audio input (Mics) devices that I need to choose from?
So either I don't know how to use it, or it is not specific enough for what I need.
