MK908_V3-android-4.1.1-jjhmod-v1.2 Rom Download

Ok so here's a 4.1.1 rom for the V3 mk908. It works great for video apps as 4.1.1 tends to. I'm probably going to keep it on my V3, as what I want to use it for is best accomplished with this rom. Bluetooth keyboard works. I have included 2 versions of each kernel, one set at 100% screen scaling, and one set at 95% for people with older tv's. These kernels have nothing overclocked at all, and on the V3 it seems near impossible to get above 1200mhz with any custom kernels. I apologize for the lower antutu scores and performance in general, though it's not horrible at all.

This system.img is based on Finless's 4.1.1 rom for the mk908. I have also set this system up to automatically set the resolution to full for whatever kernel you're using, so the fact that the screen settings is gone shouldn't hurt too much. Good luck and enjoy!

That's incredible. How the've messed up CPU scaling for making this non-standard? Anyway... thank you hoabycsr for cracking the head on. I'll try it ASAP.

Thanks a lot for this ROM. I have a v3 MK908 and this has been extremely stable for me with XBMC and I'm getting good consisten wifi speeds.

just tried this rom...

wifi = kaput after a while...could not really figure out what may have caused it, was using Archos to get movie list from home server over network, played a movie fine. Closed Archos to download MX Player, upon opening Play Store and searching for MX Player, wifi stopped working.

tried this rom as well (the last couple days): MK908-android.4.2.2.jjhmod.v2.2.universal
wifi stopped working as well...no apparent cause, no set timing for the wifi drops

i had purchased my mk908 back in june, thinking it would be v1 or v2 at least...but apparently it is a v3.

with wifi being such a problem, has anyone looked at possibly connecting a wifi dongle? i guess we get what we pay for?

I did make a kernel for a user who requested it that had support for one particular usb wifi dongle. I believe it totally fixed his problems. The funny part is that I used two different kernel sources for each of these roms. The V2.2 universal uses a more current source, the 1.2 4.1.1 rom is using SDK1 source. I wonder what's up with the wifi.. works ok for me but of course it would... murphy's law. I'll keep on it. I'd like to touch base with the other devs and see what we can get going as a combined effort.

I'm having this problem now too.

The strange thing is, on every other ROM, I had very stable Wifi, but slower speeds than normal. With this ROM, I was getting fast speeds, but after streaming for a while, the Wifi would disconnect completely and not come back.

There has to be a happy medium
