Nougat / Magisk / TWRP Solution for T95U-Pro 2Gb/16Gb v7.1.1

Use AmLogic Burn_Card_Maker v2.0.3 to burn ROM directly from TF card (it makes a bootable installer).

TWRP 3.0.2 works perfectly on Sunvell T95U-Pro 2Gb/16Gb running stock (rooted) Android 7.1.1 booted onto a 32Gb SanDisk UHS-1 TF (FAT-32).
Magisk 16 successfully installed (Un-SU flashed first). Important, use TWRP to flash Magisk the first time! For subsequent Magisk updates, you should be OK using the direct method from within the Magisk Manager app.

Both WiFi and BT are working fine (board ref. q201_6255).
1080p playback on Kodi streamed over 1Gbps LAN is perfect, tested with 2018 Jumanji WTTJ rip.

This stock ROM has a few minor issues, but nothing that cannot be resolved...

1) Once dismissed, the NavBar cannot be re-summoned without a reboot. This was also an issue in the MM stock ROM, so I am amazed that it has not been fixed by Sunvell in this Nougat ROM. I fixed it myself using the SystemUI Tuner app, by setting the Launcher system app to immersive mode. Now the NavBar hides & displays exactly how you would expect it to, anytime the cursor goes near the bottom of the screen.

2) The ROM has some odd installations on it that cannot be updated normally, like FireFox, Twitter, uTube, Kodi and even PlayStore itself. The errant apps just need to be un-installed and re-installed. With PlayStore, you just need to get hold of the latest "standard" PlayStore APK and install that.

3) The key mapping to my Rii-i8 is not quite correct, so this needs to be fixed with the mkr! app, exactly the same as with the MM ROM.

I can confirm 1 and 2 for the newer 1015 rom for T95K from eggyfresh...

Sunvell is useless (like most of the android box manufacturers i guess).

I will try the fixes you mention and try some things out, if i am not pleased with the results iam going back to MK22 Rom (Nougat) as is..

Works very well on the T95U pro but on AP6335, wifi and Bluetooth do not work (neither does the T95K rom).
