hey guys,
i`m new and i have a problem .
i tried to flash the finless rom 1.5 to my mk908. i installed it step by step, but in the end my mk shows me every 10 seconds the "google TV screen" and starts from the beginning. I dont know how to make him start like before, i hope you guys can help me!

You need to reflash it again. If it still doesn't work flash it with another rom from Lewy or hoaby . Guess you know the flashing method, just keep the reset button pressed and connect it to pc. When device is recognized on pc, release the reset button and flash the rom with the tools usually provided with the Roms.

also in the install intructions it says if you choose the wrong boot img for 720 or the 1080 it will hang on startup! just make sure you do this i did the same thing with my first flash, choose the 70 kernal with 720 img or the 1080 with the 1080 img! if you mix them up it wont boot up,

I had the same problem as you. Then I re-flashed to Stock ROM 08/02 http://www.mediafire.com/download/3f...0802update.rar

At least the MK908 is able to boot normally after this.

maybe your mk908 is version 3, search the rom for version3 and refresh it.

Hello...I`m new.

I had the same problem with boot loop with custom ROMs. I flash again and again but to no avail, the same boot loop. I flash the original rom and then boot loop problem disappeared.
I would be grateful if you guide me in solving this problem because I want to flash a custom rom (Finless Rom or jjhmod .... etc). Thank you.

The only custom rom that starts is MK908-android-4.2.2-jjhmod-UNIVERSAL-v2.01 but crashes when I change the cpu minimum frequency in AnTuTu CPU and press the VALIDATE button. So back to the original rom ...

and....How do I know which version is the stick?

Thank you guys! my problem was, that my mk908 is V3. but how could i know this?

i have installed the latest MK908-android-4.2.2-jjhmod-UNIVERSAL-v2.01 rom and everything is fine. so in the end i just had to know my version now i can flash every rom i want

open up the casing... the version no. is stamped on the PCB.

only roms that do not boot loop are jjhmod v2.1 and jjhmod v2.2.
But it is a problem at both with the minimum CPU frequency setting. otherwise there is nothing to reproach.
As you can set the minimum frequency processor must put default kernel.

I have the same problem. Tronsmart MK908.

MK908-android.4.2.2.jjhmod.v2.2.universal rom and Tronsmart mk908 new stock firmware 0802update.img rom. works.

Tronsmart MK908 4.2.2 finless 1.5 rom and MK908_HFW_1.2.0_Final_720p rom boot loop "android tv" screen. does not work.

How have you solved this problem? I'm doing something wrong?

Finless 1.5 is still on boot loop on V3 and jjhmod v2.2 has the same CPU frequency problems. At jjhmod v2.2 can put stock kernel, but appears flicker display (instead you can change the frequency of the processor and govenors)
