2. Windoes OS included?
3. Sata3 port?
4. M.2 SSD?
5. RAM: 1 or 2 banks? Upgradale?
6. ROM: Upgradable?
Many thanks and best regards,

On with some test, and bit of a look around of Windows to follow. on the
Alfawise T1 Mini PC Gemini Lake N4100 Supports Windows 10 4GB + 64GB ROM 802.11/AC Gig lan
Unit fired up easy, all setup ready to go Activated all good, Hmmm
Bit of a clean up of things I don't use or need and cut down the start menu size for a start
First Power Switch ON:
Little bit of customising, Do a Defender scan, start to install some testing programs.
In the meantime Windows Update has Started to do its thing,
Took about ~1.5 hour plus by the time it downloaded and I was doing a defender scan
With all my mucking around all good in the end, and on the latest I think or close from MS$..
There was one more minor update.
The Update left about 30GB of the Previous windows on the Hard disk, quick clean and now 20GB used,
I find it pretty save to remove the Normal Updatess but if you do the Microsoft Insiders, Lease previous Windows
More room now to make Windows a Happy Chappy
Running Just the Stock supplied version of Windows no extra HDD etc and will see how it all goes.
I found WiFi and Ethernet all good and speeds good, ( it works)
Setup etc all smooth no problems really like most of these Windows Boxes today, windows does take care of most.
Not a lot see in the Bios as yet
Bios
Booted Linux MInt Easy from USB, Sound WIfi etc all looking good..
Linux Mint
The Alfawise T1 is moving along nicely, all good with Netflix, Apps etc, no DRM monkey business here.
for its CPU, Ram Size fixed at 4/64GB cant add but should be able to do most and for the price.
Benchmarks and bits to follow, just to give an Idea, its not a Killer Speed Demon Unit
Small Home Office, lots of uses, Heat No problem, No fan Noise.
Should be able to find a Use for it easy.Last edited by trebor; 16 September 2018, 02:21.

Alfawise T1 Mini PC Gemini Lake N4100 Supports Windows 10 4GB + 64GB ROM 802.11/AC Gig lan
WIndows Activated
Hdd and network easy found on boot
Device Manager Main Bits
Hardware Info
Crystal Mark, Little slow like most of the Budget Boxes be a better Beasty with Faster Ram I feel.
CPU-Z
Antutu
Performance Test
Aidia 64 bit of a peak then just a slow rise
Cool Down
More tinkering to be done,
You get the Idea from the above its a Pretty Good and will just about most.
Use the Box as Intended and to its capabilities and it will be fine and dandy
Thanks to Gearbest for the chance to show and tell

Having a look around I found a longer M2 BM 380GB with the Double Notch, the M2 port is a Single Notch type so we should be good to go
Fitted M2 has detected any luck maybe able to boot from it and install windows and Improve things a little
I also tested the USB C port
Plugging in a Doodocool DC30 Multi Port HDMI/USB/TFcard Hub...
All worked except the HDMI port, since we have 2 HDMI ports its no loss, but might have been handy for that 3rd MonitorLast edited by trebor; 16 September 2018, 09:37.
