web browser size is small despite using a 42" TV

I have the rk3188 (ap6210). and given there's no linux wifi drivers yet for the ap6210 I'm back to my original problem of trying to make use of a widescreen tv (42") to display a webpage in our office. My problem is, the browser seems to only display at a low resolution, so I only can fit half the webpage on the TV...


Is there a way to change this? I'd originally thought I'd install a linux rom and the issue would go away, but without the wifi support for the ap6210 I can't actually get anything working on the linux to test it.

Any help or pointers would be awesome...

Very similar problem over here, especially needed for services since we lack apps (i.e facebook), i assume it's due to the device masking, it views the page according to the device specs, but then again, it doesnt explain why some sites just cant be unzoomed to default state, some remain default at around 130% of zoom and you can zoom under that. Most of the roms seem to indetify as nexus 7.
