best Android box for touch screen gaming

Hi guys and gals, i am looking to build a touch screen table for my disabled son. I am using an IR overlay by pq labs and have an asus va32aq qhd monitor.
Now i am looking at using it basically to play touch screen games and eductaional content (thinking writing on screen etc)
Now my overlay is compatible with android versions above 5.0. So i am wanting advice on what android box would have the lowest lag/latency and will basically attempt to be future proof. The monitor has an input lag of 9ms and the touch overlay scans at 250fps, so the next bottleneck would be the android box. i was looking at the h96 max but a review i read said the s912 would be better for gaming. im not very familiar with android, but i do like the looks of the newer 7.0 nougat but not a neccessity, i would like googe play store to be on it, and possibly to stream movies via plex from my main pc. ultimately i would even consider a mini pc or my laptop with an android emulator, but would prefer a smaller cheaper unit. Normally im quite savvy with tech, but this is a whoe new ball game for me. i dont even know what root access is or if its neccesary. Any help would be appreciated as i have 3 weeks to buy the box and the more i research the more i get confused. TIA people

    Hi ,

    one Info , the H96Max use a RK3399 with Mali860MP4 , the Amilogic

    S912 Boxes use Mali450 up to MP5 , Benchmark with RK3399 about

    80000 without cooling (Antutu) / S912 about 45000 .

Plex , i think is no problem on both Boxes (not sure) , but for this you

can read and ask in one of the RK3399 or S912 Threads . If you want

to use Netflix or similar Apps you need at least a Box with Widewine L1 .

Google play App is on both available .

hope this helps / greetings / gefattern
