I ordered one of these from China for about $17.00. 5v / 10a / 50watts (If the spec's can be trusted)

It's a bit over kill but it runs cool and I think that it smooths out the AC / DC conversion. At least now I know the problems with my RK3188 aren't due to not enough power.

      UPDATE as of last night

I ended up using an old 350watt PSU. I took a molex to sata power adapter, cut it and spliced it to become a molex to micro USB (power only). Then shorted the green wire and a ground on the 20 pin to power On the PSU when I flipped the switch.

The 5v rail has 32amps, more than enough power for this stick. I'm not getting any reboots anymore that's for sure. Now I can benchmark my stick while OC'd. I'm going to find a way to clean it up and make it look nice. Probably remove all the extra cables and such. Maybe leave 1 or 2 molex for external devices if need be.

      Power
      Stick
Benchmark Now benching 3000 points higher than my Galaxy Note II!

      Right now the stick is
      Nexus 7 Multi-Window ROM v1.2
OC Kernel CPU @1.6GHz (stick would still reboot when trying to run the 1920MHz clock speed) Performance / noop, GPU 789MHz, DDR 720MHz
vram heatsinks on the NAND, Memory, and Processor
10mm fan on CPU solderd to the 5v and ground from the USB (A) port

The only issues I am having right now are that I get no video on my PS1 emulator. I get audio, and can load a save state, but just a black screen. I also now get FCs as I try to load up a ROM from my N64 emulator. Im not sure if its the ROM or the Kernel causing the issue. I upgraded from the Multi-Window v1.1 and Stock kernel at the same time, so not sure witch one is to blame. It could be they just dont like 1080p.

Video playback at 1080p is flawless. Even on WiFi. I have watched 1080p, 720p and 480p Movies/TV shows and have no stutters, skipping, or buffering. Having this type of performance on this stick at full 1080p is fantastic.

Another option is an arcade gave psu. They are 15amp and decent ones can be found for less than $30.

Anyone know if a 5v 4amp power supply will give me enough juice for aggressive overclocking?

I'm using 5V-4A Samsung PSU and it works great even on Sam's extreme overclock kernel.
