Nice, When you receive it, do a twrp backup before booting it for the first time, ok? To get it stock and without the OTA upgrade
Do you know how to do this?

I think you should restore a full backup to get your DRM Keys back, not just the system.
I think there were about 13 files in his backup and I copied all of them to my backup that I created using TWRP, so my DRM keys are up in heaven with all the other good little DRM KEYS.... Originally, I only replaced the system (largest file), but could not get past the boot screen. I pulled the pin on the hand grenade, know that if it went off, it would kill my DRM keys, and it DID.

Me thinks, one of those files has the descriptor that has to match the hardware that it is installed on......

Thanks to Brunomsg (http://freaktab.com/member/114312-brunomsg) for providing me with the TWRP backup that was sent to him, my Nexbox A95X Pro is now back to stock firmware. It was a little tricky, and I thought I may end up losing my Widevine DRM Level 1 keys, and my hunch proved correct. So, everything is just as it came out of the box, EXCEPT that dang DRM keys.

This has been a long learning experience. The key are stored in one of the files that I copied over for his backup to my box, and it over wrote my keys. I am guessing the keys inside that file does not match my hardware, so that is why I lost my keys. Guess it is possible to find that file with the keys and see what hardware it is looking for, but beyond my skill level.

I've found a much better way to run netflix in 4k.

Anyway, if you still don't want to believe me, you can go ahead and waste time on a useless thing. I'm not criticizing you or anybody, I'm just saying that Amlogic has made it hard to implement.
That's why we are called hackers becouse we make the machine thinks it's something else, rule N1 computers are the moust dum machine you need to tell it everything for it to do what you want, now is just a matter of how and what you tell it to be and do do and how to act
and you keep forgetting that amlogic is ARM based, right? Is there a light yet?

All ARM Cortex-A processors implement TrustZone technology, creating a hardware separation that allows a trusted OS (such as Android) to create a TEE for DRM, and other secure applications.

So basically it's the manufacturers that need to implement the level one in firmware and very few if these devices do. Its present in all Arm devices.... including 905w so that's clear. Manufacturers try to not get done right way that why even some smart phones from Samsung only level 3 example s8 in Canada no net flick HD unless changed in software (latest update provided this)

It's silly that you can watch hd in a browser but not on these devices. Seems few of these manufacture mecool ect found a nitch doing so. A95x pro manufacture wont release software that says it all.

Your are right again Maitê that's why it's taken from the vendors folder on system it's not soc it's manufacturer but some people don't believe that that's why you need these files and build prop info that I will not post for now cus I wanna see where this goes

Yahh maybe you should looke at it a little closer to see if it is replied lol some miricals are hard to believe right, it's like the other guy that installed Megamendez Android TV os on the x96 mini seams like it's not possible but yet we got it and FYI I don't have a mecool M8S pro W I got a x96mini like the one you are developing and it's running Megamendez firmware, like the one a95x pro that this guy unfortunately brick using SuperSU and now also is running that very same firmware but of course it's not possible lol... I love this....and we all got L1 Widevine keys but of course it's in the bootloader, just one little detail x96mini has a loked bootload, it's impossible yahhp maybe mine is a fake one hehehehe I really love this...

    BUT

Widevine can be spoofed and google doesn't mind it because Widevine DRM is 100% free. If s905w boxes have it, they must be using a clever trick to use L1 But surely not the way Google adds widevine in the bootloader and libraries.
Anyway, we are working on spoofing Widevine L1 and we'll achieve it no matter what. As for official atvXperience boxes, they will come preinstalled with widevine L1 because Google has given us the allowance to do so.
It,s there mate you can use it has you like I don't mind I was going to dilver a finished product but to ends here this is all I'll share you got to figure out what's next lol, where is the fun if I give everything hehehehe
