[GUIDE] Enabling init.d easily in AML devices.
Create a folder /system/etc/init.d
Then head to /system/bin and edit Preinstall.sh
Remove all content from the file and replace it with this
#!/system/bin/sh
mount -o remount,rw /system
chmod 777 /system/etc/init.d
for script in $(ls /system/etc/init.d)
do
chmod 775 /system/etc/init.d/$script
sh /system/etc/init.d/$script
done
Thats it.
Why does it work?
Amlogic firmware has that script run on 1st boot to install /system/preinstall/*.apk
We just made a hook(Thanks amlogic)
More will be added when i find the time..
