Scooter had used factory tool 1.6 and had a win, for me no such luck.

Using the supplied tool in Archive, Factory Tool 1.6 or Batch Tool 1.8
    Tested both upgrade and restore:

    All respond the same way
    Flashes OK
Get the A7 erasing rings of hope and no more black screen.
Well move along, any more ideas lets know..

A6 flashed back in without the need to re erase flash, so maybe something in eMMC type

Yes left plugged in, and also tried unplugged from PC soon as flash was verified,

Both showed the erasing A7 circle of hope

Old version by the looks 2014 PCB date

Maybe the Nougat firmware only supports certain EMMC or old/new PCB's?
Do you have the old big EMMC storage chips or the newer smaller ones, board version?
In Firefly Lollipop SDK there was EMMC code changes to support new EMMC, maybe the Ugoos Nougat firmware has some incompatibility or not the same patches since rk3288 tablets might use different EMMC chips?

I also flashed my v1.12 Lollipop firmware before I EraseFlashed with the Ugoos Nougat image and flashed the Nougat firmware.
I will also try later on older RK3288 devices but they are all bricked and I need to MaskROM flash them first.
The Nougat firmware uses a 4.4 kernel instead of 3.10 like in RK3328/RK3229, that is quite a surprise, no wonder I couldn't get my own Nougat booting before, I used a 3.10 kernel.
Maybe a typo, you used the v2.43 flashtool not v2.34 and also have the v4.5 drivers installed again, not an older version?
Also leave device plugged into the PC for 10 minutes after flashing, don't remove earlier to prevent problems or connect a screen while flashing to see the whole process if not doing it already perhaps.

The UT3S Nougat firmware works great on my HPH RK3288.
All Ugoos Settings in right menu.
Latest Google Play Store, Total commander file manager, MediaCenter app.
Kodi 18 works a breeze, passthrough, auto frame-rate switching.
I just need to replace the launcher3 tablet version.
Really impressed how smooth it runs.

You need to do an EraseFlash then flash the firmware since Nougat uses a different partition layout then Lollipop.
