Raspberry Pi heatsink kit for MK802-IV?

    Hi all,

I was looking at doing the heatsink mod for my MK802-IV and was wondering if anyone had any idea what size of heatsinks i would need? and if the raspberry pi heatsink kits would fit our devices?

    cheers from down under!

Just checked the raspberry kit and it has only 3 heatsinks, they might do the job but for me bigger heatsinks better cooling so you have to decide yourself

The 3188 is 19mm x 19mm. You might try something like this http://www.****.com/itm/5pcs-22x22x1...item2c6733df37

Re: Raspberry Pi heatsink kit for MK802-IV?

This is what I have used for the heatsinks for the mk802iv:
          1. Heatsink for nand and ram chips 4cm x 2.5, between the heatsinks and the chips I have used thick heat transfer pads 2mm.
          2. For the cpu I used an old laptop cooler. If you don't have one u can use a normal heatsink 3cm x 2.5cm (I'm recommending this size so you can cover the ram chips too) . If u use the laptop cooler you'll need heat transfer silicone like that used on desktop cpu's. If you'll use the heatsink you can use thinner pads 0.5mm pad or heat transfer tape.
          3. Heatsink for wifi chip 1cm x 1cm. You need heat transfer tape for this one.
          Hope this helps

Here are some pics of the cooling I have done
