what version of xbmc is best for this device......

Hi friend, I normally use hardware accelerated alpha 1, but on my cs918 the 1080p thru xbmc is terrible, local with mxplayer is perfect but xbmc with libstagefright still not good on this device.

What version of xbmc are you guys using, i see some people ar using XAF builds with mxplayer etc BUT will you not loose the ability to play live streams with XAF?? (some addons need internal player!)

I am finding that all the latest XBMC builds distort audio playback badly.
It seems the level is boosted, and even if my amp is playing low volume, crackling and bad digital distortion takes place. I suspect this has been happening ever since hardware acceleration has been added to the daily builds. Earlier xbmc versions do not have this problem.

For video, the latest builds are best.

For stability, the release version is best as it does not have continuous script errors like the daily builds do.

It seems to me that CS918 has all sorts of audio problems.
With Spotify there are ALWAYS silent spaces in the playback, about 2 or 3 times per track lasting about 1-2 seconds a time.
With Play All Access, only one track is played, the rest are silent, but there are no playback gaps
With XBMC there is a lot of distortion with new versions (flac or mp3 playback)
With TuneIn or MixZing, streaming is not nearly as solid as on my phone.
