Pipo M6 don't boot after sleep mode

Hi all,

I've flash a custom rom yesterday after received my Pipo M6 with ROM of Frontier (http://www.slatedroid.com/topic/6975.../page__st__100).

My tablet worked very well all the day but today after sleep mode, imposible to boot my Pipo M6.

When i put on button "on" nothing happen =/


What shall I do ?

First get a paper clip and press the reset button on the back...see if it will boot again.

You should be able to install most apps. There are still a few that don't load, but I don't want to get too aggressive with changing the identity of the tablet...the users want to see their brand/model in settings...hahahah!!!!!!

I have just flashed 1.8a and during a restart I get this emblem until the battery dies, any idea how to fix. I can't even restart the tablet.IMAG1105.jpg902 KB

Pipo M6 don't boot after sleep mode

To fix that follow these steps:

Download and flash the oldest official firmware you can find from Pipo.

Let the tablet boot all the way.

With tablet unplugged, press and hold the power button 10 seconds. That will do a hard shutoff and reset the battery.

Plug in the tablet and let it charge to 100 percent in sleep mode.

Then reflash the RileyROM.

A question - I have managed to enter recovery mode. where i get options to wipe data cache/ factory reset/ install rkiimage from external sd card. However the PC and tablet does not connect at that point.

Can I flash tablet with an external sd card from there?

Also holding the power button does not do anything after seeing the RROm emblem.

Yes, you can flash the ROM via CWM at this point.

What you need to do is add the img files (there are instructions) to the zip file in the CWM Template folder of my ROM kit. Just make sure you are using the same parameter file you originally flashed with because the partition sizes can't change when flashing using the CWM method.

I have not tried this before, so other's that have done so may be able to help better than me.

M6 won't boot

I have tried the reset and all your instructions in an effort to flash my M6 with an update. Nothing works. Tried to send a photo in Bluetooth and it locked on the Pipo logo at startup. Any ideas?
