the video playback issue should maybe related on the kernel version. How did you test the video playback?

Although microstuttering issue is also enhanced over the original firmware or kernel , it is not what i am
talking about , i am talking about playing very intense videos that i have (45-48G.B) with portions
That has 70MBps (USB playback) without a hitch which was not possible before.

I also had some subtitles issues (some text left overs) which was present in every MK802IV or compatible
That i tried , but now it is solved , in addition i had an issue when i play heavy 1080p videos and move
The mouse cursor the video stutters and become out of synch , see my post here:

This issue is also resolved in this rom.

So basiclly using this rom+ latest sam321 kernel gave an outstanding video performance
A video performance that was expected from rk3188 sticks in the first place.

Is this to old wifi?

As i replied in the other thread , it is for the new one , i tried using sam321 kernel of the old chip
With this rom , this should have made the wifi and blue tooth work on the old chip
But for some reason they didn't.

Can confirm that this is the first rom having decent video playback, i've only thrown light videos at it though. I only get some sporadic hot reboots when in 1080p mode. They seem to have improved BT and WIFI range as well.

The rebooting (especially on 1080p kernels) are mostly due to insufficient cooling or power supply.
So try to add extra cooling or use 5V 3A (with good and steady volt and amps).

Hello there!
First let me thank you for your great work in this rom.

I have the mk802IV with the new wi-fi chip.

I flashed your rom, and then flashed sam321 OC Kernel (1080p 1.7ghz ram 1400mhz kernel). Went with a slight overclocked kernel because atm I can`t provide a better power suply than 2.1amps nor can I cool the little thing. I ordered the stuff from aliexpress and I`m eagger here to try it out (3a power supply and 2x 2,5cm coolers 5V 0,12 amps)

Following the experience from opengl1971 inFreaktab forum.

Everything works like a charm, scored 18500 with antutu.
Wi-Fi is ok, it is still weak, but a little better and stabler. BT is working. Video is great. Haven`t tested other things out, but if you`d like I`ll be glad to help you out.

Connection Problems!

I flashed this ROM and at first it worked like a charm, video playback, everything was wonderful. I thought... "this people allowed me to recover the money and time I spent on this!"

However, the stick is now having connection problems, it connects to the wifi network (the router is just next to the stick) and gives full signal, but the wifi symbol is gray, so I can't connect to the internet. If I connect through LAN, it works perfectly unless I try to open any web browser (Chrome crashes right away) and all other browsers disconnect from the internet after loading every new page.

I still don't get what's happening... Can anybody help me?

please add cwm firmware for mk802iv new Wifi,i dont have a pc,i can flash only cwm firmware,please somebody help me
