Remotes, Keyboards, AirMouse .. What do you use and why?

    Greetings all~

While I currently wait for my Minix Neo x7 to arrive I figured i'd take some time to ask the community what your favorite remote or keyboard or air mouse or any combination works best for you and why. Any and all reviews welcome.

Do you like the supplied remote?

Do you have another remote in mind if you don't like it?

Anyone using a Bluetooth remote/keyboard at all?

What about mice? do you prefer your standard wireless mouse or are you leaning towards an AirMouse? why?

I have at my disposal a (NSG-MR7U) From the Sony Internet Player Google TV box. It has the integrated mic, curious to know if i'll be able to get some use out of this remote. (i certainly don't expect everything to work)

I use the Logitech K400 keyboard/trackpad. It connects via a USB port. It worked without any configuration changes. However, I did install the Null Keyboard application to prevent the on-screen keyboard from appearing.

good to know about this keyboard i'd already eyed getting one for myself as i figure i can use it across multiple devices. so the trackpad works flawlessly as well? or just the KB part? would be great to be able to pinch to zoom on the trackpad if it supports it.

Both keyboard and trackpad work. I am pretty sure pinch-to-zoom works, but will retest it tonight.

I use the Minix Neo A1+ and it works fine. I have picked it because i ordered it with the Neo X7. I picked it Allso because it has a keyboard on it and makes it easier to write on the Neo X7.

                I'm using IOGEAR GKM561R (link here :http://youtu.be/qqduKuPYSME) which I bought from Amazon.com.

No configuration required. It connects via a transmitter in the USB port. IMHO,works well in a living room setting where the TV and android device is within 15-20 feet from the keyboard.

Thanks for your Reply. I have not heard of this device but it certainly looks interesting. How well does the lazer track ball work? how is the build quality does it feel like it will last a while? or does it feel flimsy?

Thanks, was asking because I could not find any IR receiver on review-pictures.

Has anyone tried the QQ-Tech® Newest Mini Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard Handheld with Touchpad (~ $25) ?

                          Its on Amazon : http://amzn.com/B00BALK9CM

Since it was bluetooth I was preferring it over the Logitech K400 (~ $25).

I already have a ASUS bluetooth keyboard that works great but unfortunately it does not have any mouse/touch/track etc.

                          Should I just opt for a touchpad/trackpad?

                          Example:
                          Bluetooth
                          1. Logitech Rechargeable Trackpad for Mac (910-002880) (~ $40)
                          2. Logitech Rechargeable Touchpad T650 (~ $50)

                          Non-Bluetooth
                          1. Logitech Wireless Touchpad with Multi-Touch Navigation (910-002345) (~ $25)

Or, is there an app for Android phones that allows the phone to be used as the touchpad/trackpad and controls the Minix?
This would be ideal and cost the least.

i use the Ipazzport kp-810-16 because its an air mouse, a keyboard and also an
Ir remote (it has to modes "AV' and "TV") that I use with my tv and my mini pc. I use the Ir remote with my tv , on the other hand, I use the keyboard/mouse with my neo x7. I also use the AV mode and map the keys from the minix controller to the i pazzport. So I get a keyboard, a mouse, a remote for my tv and the stock remote features all in one device (the mouse works in both portrait and landscape mode you have to press Fn + Esc to change this). its also really easy to set up and I use an app called external keyboad helper so I can map the keys to do other things for example f2 can be volume down (it already comes that way but you have to press Fn + F1 so I change it so I dont have to use the Fn key), I use this app because I dont know how to change the keylaoyout or anything that has to do with coding, you can also us the app to set your keyboard to work as th "xperia play's" gamepad so you can use your keyboard with games.

Logitech K700 seems very good, most keys work properly out the box
