I cant get my Jesurun K8 player to display anything???

I just got this unit http://dx.com/p/jesurun-k8-quad-core...us-plug-235024

I pluged it into my tv via HDMI and nothing displays. My TVs dont recognize any signal coming from it. I have tried several known working HDMI cables. Two different TVs. With and without my 2 denon receivers (different models) in the middle of the mix. I have tried all combinations. After 3 hours of attempting to make it work I have given up. I cycled power and waited 5 min in between each attempt.

perhaps there is a reset button I could try? Anyone know anything about this unit?

Bottom of the unit says "Reko QT960 www.semitime.com"

Any help or info would be great.

For info and help..

It seem you need to open the box for a reset..
But.. perhaps the unit is just D.O.A ? and returnable
the hdmi port pins break easy, when modding... and these units are/have been modded quite abit

are you saying there is a chance someone has owned this before me and modded it???

I assumed everything on dx.com was brand new

I read all of that thread and saw no indication how to reset it by going inside.

well, dx.com is going to replace it. Its gonna be a total of 6 weeks of waiting to get this unit. I hope the next one works!!!
