What IPTV box that support Kodi and Plex well? Rockship is not recommand?

I look for a IPTV box to stream IPTV KODI and PLEX. Some of the boxed looks that they are verry unstable and I can see some say Rockship is not working well together with Kodi. What box is recomanded, and what chip?
It is smart to choice Android 7, because of future use. Does some support 4k, or is it just fake fact?

Buy the Nvidia shield! It does it all,and they keep their firmware up to dated too!

hmm.. will do some testing (gk : IPTV =1300 ch )
allwinner + perfect player (heard some good things about this player)
allwinner + kodi 17 + simple client
amlogic (s805/s802 ) + libreelec (7/9) + simple client
Intel PC with nvidia GPU + libreelec x86 + simple client

just waiting for the "playlist"

the howto states to use a app called AppleHD... so I did as starting point ( allw h6 andr 7 / allw ) ( CPU max 4.7 )
So, most streams are SD up to HD ( 1080p )
this app seems to have a tablet based ui with sw rendering as default, with HW enabled it looks fine / EPG is present
two hours 1080p...stream looks stabile (quality 7) ( app says no info about audio )
loads 5800 ch

perfect player... is a updated version of applehd it seems
it has alot more rendering/buffer options ... incl HW+ ( CPU max 4.0 ) ( it has ads ) (allw h6)
no info about HD audio (quality 7 but less stabile stream ) EPG is slow

yesterday I tested the s805/libreelec 7
it was suprised as it played 1080p/5.1 6h with only a few seconds small loops
the GUI was a lot more user friendly with previews and popup EPG
