Good morning guys,
I buyed last Christmas my Android box from Banggood, the Alfawise H96 Pro+ 3GBram 32GBrom at this link
Attached below there're the PCB inside the box (the label on the PCB says "3G+32G+3977 / 20171014"), now I need to identify wich version of ROM can be installed on..
Thanks for help
EDIT: just reading at this link and see the right picture same as my PCB, I think I've got the CZ-S32-V2.2 ...is that right? wath kind of ROM can I install now?
You may only view thumbnails in this gallery.
This gallery has 2 photos.
Next PCB with no name of the variant. I wouldn't flash any firmware - official or not, as it may brick the device.
Name would be on the other side of the board - second picture. However here is only the date, when this variant was first manufactured - 2017-06-22.
I can read on the PCB the correct date 2017-10-22 (not June)... then following this page I can assume it's a CZ-S32-V2.2 version (same picture, same "maybe" electronics components).
In this case of CZ-S32-V2.2 what ROM can I try to flash?
Is there any information I can read from Android INFO page?
BTW I'd like some more information about ROMS.. (I'm a newbie with this device, but not for smartphones)... the link you give me are the officially ones, so I can take the newer and have a backup.
About superceleron's rom, can you you suggest me one for download (Android TV version too?)??? There're many versions in this forum.. I cannot understand how can I select the right one (SCV1 - SCV4A - SCV7A - AndroidTV....)
Difference is in base - Android TV has it's own launcher which is hard to replace, where Normal version works same as on phone or tablet. And coz of base there is different apps in Play Store - You won't find ATV ones in Normal store and some Normal won't be available in ATV store. That doesn't mean they won't work, but You will have to get and .apk file and manually install them (here Apk Mirror is Your friend). As of today, there is more apps worth using not supporting ATV rom, than the one supporting it. I believe that there are two useful apps - YouTube and Netflix (which doesn't work on this Box), so for me Normal rom was better choice as I have to only manually update the YT app and with ATV rom there probably would be more apps I use that I couldn't find in Play Store.
