I purchased from Gearbest and I want my $$$$ back. I have always just accepted that I got a piece of junk and let it go as a learning lesson. No more, the vendors NEED to make good by refunding $$$ on junk they sell......

SCISHION AI ONE Android 8.1 TV Box >> GARBAGE!!
Purchased SCISHION AI ONE Android 8.1 TV Box, and what a big mistake. This box will not display any video from my HDHomeRun app, live or recorded streams. NO Dolby Digital or DTS, much less HD audio. This like the boxes from 3 or 4 years ago. I swore I would NEVER purchase another device with a Rockchip SoC, but thought they have improved, NOT!! The temp is running HOT!!, right now 100 C, guess it will burn itself up soon....

There's a reason all these boxes have anonymous manufacturers.

I'm actually very happy with my MVR9 RK3328.
I run 4K@60hz videos with LibreELEC and they play full motion and smoothly, 23.976fps videos also run great.
I just wish they would add HDR support to LibreELEC sooner, then it would be perfect, will just have to wait
Now that Kodi Android has no developers and changes are merged before even testing it on Android, you have to use older versions from April 2018 since later ones are too buggy, this is why LibreELEC is interesting, you can use it if Kodi Android has bugs and everything will just work and play.
HDR, Deinterlacing, 10-bit H264, VC1, auto frame-rate switching, HD Audio, root/unroot & Amazon Prime Video are all working correctly using the latest Nougat firmware I made, all problems on other RK3328 devices with buggy firmware.

You just need to enable it in Android Sound Settings and in Kodi 18 System Settings.
I don't have an AVR at the moment but hope to get one soon.
Rockchip fixed some HD Audio stutter/audio cut problems sometime in Oct 2017 and those fixes are in the stock firmware and mine.
If you play HD MA High Res audio then you should follow the guide in the Kodi forums for Nvidia Shield users since there are bugs in the firmware of some AVR receivers manufactured after 2017.
23.976fps videos on Android will give you about 1 stutter per video on Nougat but I heard RK now better supports that on Oreo and is still improving it.
1080p@24/25/30/50/60, 4K@24/25/30hz play smooth without any problem.
I tried real AndroidTV Oreo firmware(not tablet Oreo) about 2 months ago but it was still a bit buggy and didn't like the new interface(same as Nvidia Shield Oreo), need to find out if there is some new version out, I think Google Certification still needs to be finalized otherwise you can't run Netflix in HD.
