I guess 802.11d support would benefit newest routers with ( 802.11d )... would have to contact him ask ask if he injected new(beta) drivers?

I had to read through pages but ...supposedly compatible with most S912 China Boxes (?) with mention of someone updating on top of SCV4 (?ATV? not sure) China box must first be on Android 7.

I looked but did not read which firmware version this is currently based on.

Hi grettings folks, i try this rom and is beautifull and fluid, but no have wfi or Lan Ethernet or bluetooth, no try more in this because i no have more time, please some can make this rom with all things for the H96 Pro 3/16.... mi wifi chip is Q9377

Not sure if it will work, but maybe try to use kernel from SuperCeleron's rom? Normal one as this rom doesn't seem to base on ATV.

Hello all.

i already installed this ROM in my H96 PRO PLUS, this is the easy way to flash this ROM :
installed SCV4A , then use OTA update ,select ZIP (2 wipe),will auto into TWRP and completed.
and all function running well

I have TWRP installed on my H96 Pro Plus so I think I can do though recovery

But my question is: is Wifi is working?
Reading the related thread it seems that wifi is not working and I need it because I'm far away from the network plug

Can you please check ?

It seems it's built for another WiFi chip. I would try to use this Rom with stock or superceleron's kernel. Maybe that way WiFi will be available?

Ran some quick tests

SELinux Permissive

Boot to desktop with default launcher 35 seconds.
Boot to desktop with Action Launcher 2 minutes..(New updates to Action Launcher are less optimized?)
Home screen reboots to default launcher...did not look too long for hidden setting.

Wifi...Nope
Ethernet 100 Mbps ping ok
Adapitive display
Deep Colour: 8bit or 10 bit YCbCr422 / 8 bit YCbCr444 /8bit RGB

Antutu 55241
Space/Planet scene ..no nasty audio crackle...but, video was pumping. Slight lag overall.
CPU: 25343

(Copied 1 gig of files from USB Stick @ 25MBs...no further tests)

Hid the nav bar...could not make it show again..maybe a reboot?
Back ground live paper might not work (500 Firepaper error "not installed")
Background apps do not stay active?
Home button will shut down visible running app.
AOSP Keyboard is quirky
WebGL played ok (only one test)
Youtube played ok ...max 1080p (only two tests)

Still an improvement over factory firmwares



Will return to SCV7a soon.

Thanks for the detailed review. I am sure the background app killing is on purpose to free up more ram for buffering ... but sticking with SCV7a until the wifi is fixed.
