--Ignore what I previously said, this is a H96 MAX H2.

The blue thing is a usb 3.0 OTG cable, the other cable was disconnected aftwards.

I couldn't find much information on the SD card method, could you point me in the right direction? Thanks!

        MXQ RK3328 D4, v1.2

So from what I understood the H2 is a RK3328 and I've been loading the correct firmware anyway, going to try the SD-Card method as soon as I find it and let you guys know if it works!

            Hi ,

first , u dont have to say sorry for posting , important u stay with

your Problem here , if you ask in similar Threads too ,

no Problem as you not open up double Threads with same theme .

I really think this can only be fixed by "serialConsole" UART , but for

this i have not the knowledge .

            good luck / gefattern

I found 2 firmwares, depending of your box:

We have good news, there is a new firmware (.img file) for H96 MAX H2 Colorful Edition TV Box with 4GB RAM (20180314) powered by Rockchip RK3328 SoC. This

Ok I went with a "external" approach, one colleague at work was able to help me, he replaced the NAND with THIS one and got it to boot!! Now I got it to install Android 7.1.2!! Finally!!!

Now just gotta wait for a custom rom for it!

One thing that doesn't work tho, the WIFI, it lists all the available WIFI's but can't connect, tried with/without password, even reflashed with an older version but the WIFI still doesn't work, I guess I'l have to live with a huge cable to the TV for now!

                      Hi ,

so your Friend was sure that the Nand was damaged & and there

was no Way then changing it with a new Chip , was it exactly the

                      same Chip ???

Was Wifi working before , what Rom did he take for your Box ??? ,

maybe he took a Rom with different Wifichip support ???

Your Wifichip was the ......??? can not see it on Picture .

                      greetings / gefattern

                        gefattern

He's from the electronics department so I don't know the full details, just that it's the same box with different NAND, he basically gave me the TV Box back with the Firmware I gave him to install and it works, I'm able to re-flash again with any compatible rom (Loader method).

--Edit Got rid of that box and got a new one, seems to be even more problematic so I'll open a new topic.

hello I discovered the Prepare IDB Fail error.
You must not close the contact, but prescribe as attached and then connect the usb that is on the side of the inputs just like the phone.
after identifying remove the contact and perform the update.
I recommend putting solder to make it easier to press the contacts
