Need help to unbrick Mini M8S II

Today I decided to flash a new ROM on my Mini M8S II running Magendanz nano rom. I don't have a USB M/M cable so I used the SD card method. I read that the Android 7.1 ROM from the Tanix TX7 works with this box, but when I tried flashing it failed and I got a screen with the Android and a red x. I tried the experimental S905x Android 8.0 ROM, same thing happened. Now when I turn on the box using toothpick method, the blue light turns on but I get a blank screen even when there's an SD card with a firmware update. Is there any hope to get a working ROM on this box? I will pick up a USB M/M cable and try the USB Burning Tool to see if I have any luck. Has anyone experienced this and have some guidance on how to fix? TIA

Thanks, I came across that thread shortly after posting. I'll try tomorrow once I buy the USB cable. If I need to sorts the pins on the nand chip, would a paperclip work?

Make your own male to male USB cable, it you have a couple of cables laying around. Very easy to do and work as good or better than one you can purchase.........
PS, that is the easiest box I have to swap OS's..

Get the burning tool from here: http://chinagadgetsreviews.com/download-amlogic-usb-burning-tool-v2-0-8.htmlAndroid TV ROM for this box:http://freaktab.com/f...
