display clock

on my ebox t8 v s912 with 7.1.2, i installed custom rom but instead of showing the clock on front of box it show the word boot instead, i was told to take FD628_Demo from system/bin/ from original rom and replace existing one in custom rom, but...the original rom does not have that file fd628_demo in bin draw, but the custom rom has that file, som im wondering whats going on, is it in the kernel ? how do i get it to work, i tried t95z fd628 did not work either, if its in original rom...where is it, how do i proceed.
box working perfectly otherwise minus remote control, but i use and air mouse anyway.
