    Beware! CvbsOutput must be disabled.

After so many different attempts to correct odd video behavior with some video streaming apps, FX Now ATV version, and BBC iPlayer phone app both play audio with green blanked out screen. I thought it was DRM related, as I have pasted in system files from stock phone based firmware on modded ATV 64 bit firmware to mix hardware driver support and other tweaks.

After weeding my multiple build.prop files for various changes and reversions to test without needing to rely on an editor if boot or operation issues. I found one option that made the problem difficult to correct when the issues came about after updating apps.

even though my box has CVBS output, which is never used, I disabled it just for fun, and found that the green screen blanked out video is no longer. It may correct other issues with Kodi or what ever that runs as a shell over your box system.

Now the only issues I have with ATV is STV having FC during startup, and ti backup missing right hand section to top action bar. So every app must be done manually one at a time, to back up or restore.

    Hi ,

i have the same with TitaniumBackup , had to restore one by one , because the Button for restoring all (right top Corner) ,

not exists , why this happens , in MM it is still avaiaible , in N not , strange , a Mail to the Dev. could help / Update /

But that is not the only App , had to change my favorit Firewall Droidwall to AF+ , because of no Menu , available with

Button , same Catlog , on MM , all good ,

    greetings / gefattern

Well, it seems that it Is only with SC android tv build, and SCV7, probably because of his custom kernel. TI backup works fine with all other N builds.

as for firewall, I use exposed for that. Magisk also has a nice option as well. Unbeloved hosts and ADBlocker reborn are my primarys with a custom hosts file. I get no ads in most of my tv apps, and also with Terrarium.

Also in order to get STV to run, I had to use an older version which also looks better on ATV with a black background.

SBS is the only one that I cannot get to run, no enough support flowing newer app versions as of yet. Probably December, as many new devices require better apps, and many peeps upgrade by start of year.

Not worried about Netflix, don't need it, and stopped using it after 2015, along with Hulu. At one time I had the ability to stop ads in playback. But once Google started using their servers to stream ads and video as a go between product, no ad blocking can be done without rerouting. An old app called block it! Was great for that, as it used it's servers to channel traffic like a proxy. You only allow hosts to be routed back at you. No host dropping, as the ad servers will connect to their server, and never get to your device.
