    K-r42 power from tv's usb

    Is it possible to suply power to box tv's usb?

    In theory, yes, but that will lead to all kinds of instability problems. The USB port of your TV will yield max. 500mA of current which is not nearly enough to power the device under load. A 2000mA external power supply is very much a must.

      No..
      First kr42 uses dc port for power.. not usb ( like most sticks)

      As stated above..
      I tried a AD-stick ones.. it burn-out the tv's usb hub (generated to much heat.. )
      It booted.. then rebooted... poof (usb port never worked again)

      Don't try it...

        my old Mk802 working like a charm from LG`s USB, thats why I asking about it.
