Please help me with h96 unstable

HI mates, sorry my english is bad.. poor.

    I have a h96pro plus (s32-v6 / LPDDR3 / blue / 3gb/16gb)

I try flash it with a lot of firmaware, the result is the same... unstable, apps crash or stopped, freeze, reboot etc.. why ?? anobody have idea?

** medialauncher stopped, google play store, youtube, etc etc.. Will it be something of the hardware? power supply is 5v 2A

Can it be a temperature problem? in aida64 show me 64/70° ... and before netflix or youtube 10min -> 79°

wifi is 9377, and... connects well...

    please help me! thanks mates!

In my opinion, yes it can be a temperature problem. Try to revert back to the original firmware (to avoid any other causes) and to manage something like a fan and keep the temperature bellow 60'C. I usually do not get much higher temperatures but my hardware is DDR4 v3 I think. Good luck.

Thanks Bullgates, any other idea? Ram? Power supply? I will try with 5v 3A
Now add a cooler in top (i'll add pictures later), the system works between 40c 45c but some times apps stopped or reboot

      I'm sad

Once you have a clean install, you'll have a baseline to keep a record.
Decide which network you can test with. Wired should give a more stable operation.
        1. Do not root. Run a day or so...is China Box fine?
        2. Add your most needed Apk. Is the box still running smooth the next day?
        3. Add your next needed Apk, again, is it still running smooth?
        4. Try root(if needed) and see if your China Box is still OK the next day...
        .
        .
        .
You can try installing 2-3 Apk at a time...but it will be difficult to tell which Apk or combo causes you grief.

I had a problem box that was OK-ish...but if I swamped the China Box with all my set-up (Titanium Backup)..it might get wonky. With all the testing I do, it was guaranteed to have stability errors the more I put in and uninstalled... to the point of doing a fresh install from ground zero..SCV4 > SCV7a.

Easiest to just keep note of when China Box gets wonky.

You can go all fancy with logging.
Can't remember name and parameters or best method...probably need root...

Google" Logcat in Terminal" or get aLogcat or Logcat Extreme from the Google Playstore. I'm not a dev..so, way out of my skill range.

In clean installation, (with rom aml_7.1.2_s912_q9377-S912_LP_mac-20180409.img) the device is stable, but without wifi connected and without any configuration.

Suddenly the error appears "android.process.media has stopped" then close... It remains stable, any suggestions?

i connect ethernet port and work more stable, Wifi is off... may be wifi connection is the principal problem of instability... there are any fix to apply?

                "android.process.media has stopped"

Hmmm....it happens and not uncommon. Because of Launcher(?), background media player/codecs(?), or Google apps?
As long as it is not popping up every minute...try to ignore. Sometimes it does not appear or give notice for days/weeks. It does not seem to cause further problems.
If you find a better solution please share.

                  WIFI

Try rebooting a few times....make sure ethernet cable is not plugged in.
Check your router and make sure the MAC Address is not banned
Check that both Android Setting(gears) Webapps view(?) and regular Settings have the WIFI enabled. Sometimes the options are selected by one method but not selected or retained by the other method.

*There was a WIFI driver package available on these forums. Maybe GT1 ultimate forums(supercelerons work?) Not sure if these would be applicable at all.

Hmm, never heard of "delete the file "wpa_supplicant.conf". Read as a text file and see if the settings apply to you...make a saved copy before messing with it. I believe that your firmware is not initializing the WIFI hardware...or shutting it down before you get into Android...Need a different firmware...or try flashing same one, but, expect same results.

Android has a settings app/gear to modify preferences. Whether through the gear icon or by pulling down the top bar to get into WIFI settings. There are some firmwares that also have these settings available as a friendly side bar view(I believe call "Webview"?). The chosen settings do not always stay selected because one method can interrupt the other.

I would carefully consider another firmware, unless a dev has a better solution. The amount of struggle can neither be recouped in time nor grief.

Interesting site. If it works..tell us of your success!
Still, make a copy of that file before deleting; from my many previous mistakes.
