OK, yes stock firmware on the V6 boards are 64bit, so theoretically you can flash an SCV4a or a SCV7a OTA from stock. But the OTA drivers and system files are old and will not be as good as stock. Plus only SCV7a updates stock firmware to ATV properly, as it is an update from mobile SCV1. SCV4a is built around ATV base, not stock.

Thanks, I may revert to the latest firmware you posted, and hot transfer system files from my copy of SCV7a ATV to fix issues with ATV, like stock remote mute and volume controles and possibly fixing TiBackup and a few other phone apps with upper menu bars not fully functional.

A bit of a hybrid Phablet ATV mix. Though I can't really see a reason to, as I got SCV7a working well enough, and hate to spend time on rebuilding from scratch, just for volume control fix, and be not sure about fixing the broken mobile apps.

maybe on a rainy day or something... who knows.

Hi, not sure...

I unzipped it, and found that it is not stock. Way too big, over 2gb. Someone probably customised a 03 or 04 build and re-released it.

Try my mod to allow ATV on stock or custom non ATV.

The only difference between my mod, once it is setup, is that it does not lock lean back launcher as a default launcher, so many 3rd party launchers can be used without difficulty. Also it uses stock play services and play store, so if you need ATV apps, search Android TV in APKMIRROR search. You will need to look at all the pages as it shows newest release date not names in order. There is many new ATV releases out as of late, so there are many pages to go through.

What? Most are side loaded. Just click and Install.

The ones that need to be in system folders manually are like copy paste, and make sure permissions are set, usually your root permissions will properly place 664 as the permissions on each file.

The trouble is doing it all In file browser with twrp, it needs manual permissions set, which takes extra steps.

I assume you have root and use file explorer or solid explorer.

I tried the aroma method to pick which items to install, but it doesn't use our mouse interface. You need to have a touch pad with USB dongle. Though, you may need to add my permissions file mod, to allow touch capabilities if your stock rom does not detect touch commands with your touch pad.
