One thing I can do, if I get time....is compare the build.prop files from both ROM's and see if they just forgot to change a setting. If it's that simple, I'll post an update.

Meantime, there are some apps on Google Play Store that will allow you to adjust your screen rotation. I don't know of a specific one, but Google is your friend.

I checked both build.prop files and they are pretty much the same...just in different order. There's nothing in there that affects screen rotation.

You might try flashing the kernel from the 1.0 ROM and see if there is any difference.
