Argh! I found a reason why I have app issues.

For some reason some apps won't have any permissions set when Installed. Not sure if It is the apk managers I use, or downloaded apps installed by Solid Explorer Pro, or something about Magisk 16.0. I had to set permissions over 60% of my installed apps. So, now now I will have to check each app after install to see if any permissions get set and make adjustments if needed. Hopefully it is not a device issue, so identifying what causes the condition, can be circumvented once the issue can found.

    Hello,

Why you install your Apps with Solid Explorer Pro?
Use APK installer that comes with the rom instead.
I think that will solve your Problem.

Basically it downloads from my router's media storage and uses Android's installer built in installer. Thus brings up new permissions if any before clicking OK. The installer apk don't care, and will never show permissions, great if you have more than 3 apps to Install on the fly. I use ti backup for installing apps from scratch after a system load. Possibly that is the cause, since it does not propagate permissions from Magisk SU. Noticed it when trying to write to ExtSDCard. Solid Explorer can but Ti backup can't after gaining SU from Magisk.

found a fix on the Internet... just reinstall the apps through normal means to correct. Don't use 3rd party installers.
