    Pipo M6 Pro RileyROM 1.0

Update: This is now 1.0a revised to fix a boot loop problem

Pipo has introduced a new variation of the M6 tablet with built in GPS. Everything else seems to be the same, except the ROM's (I assume) aren't interchangable.

This ROM is based on the official Pipo firmware dated 9/11/2013

    This ROM is:

    Rooted
    Debloated
    init.d support
    Busybox support
    Extended Ext4 file system

    Reboot app by Petrus
    Flash Tool by Finless
First Time User's Guide by Pr0xZen

This ROM comes in both Wifi and 3G versions:

    Wifi

    3G

    Enjoy!!!!

        firmware tested

I tested this firmware but it has some problems:

the stock browser doesn't work anymore
the antutu score dropped from 17.100(with stock firmware) to 13.300(with rileyrom).

        general performance seems unchanged.
After that I switched back to the stock FW.

        I'm a little bit disappointed...
in any case thank you for your first effort with this device!

          Hi,

I am experiencing an annoying issue - the home screen button doesn't work any longer.

I have found this post - http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...21&postcount=1 which may help to solve the issue.
Unfortunately, when I connect the device over USB into my Win 7 PC, I can see just a few empty directories, but not the system ones.

Did this happen immediately after you flashed my ROM?

There is an app named Provision.apk that needs to be there.

I have now updated both wifi and 3g ROM's to 1.0a.

I found a problem that was likely the cause of the boot loop. Sorry about that.

Let me know how it works.

Just download with the same links in post #1.

the original firmware dated august23rd has an issue about a lockout of the tablet after a long standby.

I asked for a new version of the firmware to the PIPO customer center, they sent me an updated version, dated september13, that solve this annoyng issue AND now with antutu I can reach 18.080 points.

This tablet is now working flawlessly!
Riley, if you want to modify this new version, here is the link for download (available until 28th of september):

For some odd reason, whenever I try to download a file from this wettransfer site, it always fails.

Can you upload the file to Dropbox or Google Drive and provide me a link?
